Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-01 · Effective 1 October 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a contract between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we", "us"), a company registered in Vietnam with its address at [ADDRESS] (enterprise registration number [ENTERPRISE REGISTRATION NUMBER]). They govern your use of Script2Reel at script2reel.app, our apps and our API (together, the "Service"). Our Acceptable Use Policy and Refund Policy are part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

By creating an account, ticking the box to accept these Terms, or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organisation.

1. Who can use the Service

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. The Service is not directed at children.
  • You must not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or if we previously closed your account for breaking these Terms.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • Free credits are granted once per person. Creating several accounts to collect free credits, or sharing an account to get around plan limits, is not allowed.
  • Tell us promptly at support@script2reel.app if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

3. How the Service works

  • Script2Reel turns a topic, a script or documents you provide into a narrated video, using AI models (for scripts, narration and illustrations) together with licensed stock footage, images and music.
  • AI output can be wrong. Scripts, facts, figures, charts, translations and pronunciations are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Review every video before you publish or rely on it. Output is not professional advice.
  • We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

4. Plans, credits and payment

  • Videos are paid for with credits. Credits are reserved when you start a video, spent when it renders successfully and returned automatically if rendering fails. Prices and how many credits each option costs are shown on the pricing page and before you create a video.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and expire as described on the pricing page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, provides customer service for billing enquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to purchases made through Paddle. Payments in Vietnamese dong made by bank transfer (VietQR) are sold to you directly by us.
  • We may change prices or plans. Changes to a subscription price apply from your next billing period, and we will tell you at least 14 days before.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Credits granted by a refunded payment are removed from your balance.

5. Your content

  • Input. You keep all rights in the text, scripts, documents, data, logos and other material you submit ("Input"). You confirm that you own your Input or have all the rights and permissions needed to use it with the Service, including consent from any person who can be identified in it.
  • Licence to us. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, adapt and transmit your Input and Output only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service, to check content against our Acceptable Use Policy, and to comply with the law. This includes sending relevant parts to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain for a limited time in backups.
  • No training. We do not use your Input or Output to train AI models. Our AI providers process it only to provide the Service, under their business API terms.
  • Output. As between you and us, you own the videos and other results generated for you ("Output"), and we assign to you any rights we may have in them, subject to these Terms and to the third-party licences in section 6. AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in every country, and other users may receive similar output.
  • Watermark. Videos made on the Free plan carry a Script2Reel watermark. You must not remove or hide it.

6. Stock media, music and voices

Videos may include stock video and images from Pexels and Pixabay, music released under CC0 or similar licences, and synthetic voices from Google. Each item stays subject to its own licence, listed in the Credits of each video and on our Media attribution page. In particular, you must not:

  • sell or distribute stock clips, images or music on their own, outside your video (for example as stock files, prints, wallpapers, merchandise or NFTs);
  • suggest that a person, brand or organisation shown in stock media endorses you, your product or your message, or show an identifiable person in an offensive, misleading or defamatory way;
  • use stock media or music as a trademark, logo or business name;
  • present a synthetic voice as the real voice of an identifiable person.

7. AI-generated content and disclosure

  • Videos made with the Service contain AI-generated material. We may add machine-readable markers to Output (such as watermarks, metadata or content credentials) so that it can be identified as AI-generated. You must not remove, alter or obscure them.
  • You are responsible for disclosing that content is AI-generated where the law requires it (for example the EU AI Act and Vietnam's Law on Artificial Intelligence for realistic "deepfake" content of real people, places or events) and where the platforms you publish on require it (for example YouTube, TikTok and Meta ask you to label realistic altered or synthetic content). Platforms may also label content automatically when they detect these markers.
  • Do not present AI-generated content as human-made, or as a real recording, in a way that could mislead people.

8. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We check briefs, documents and videos with automated tools and, where needed, human review. We may refuse to create a video, remove content, or limit your use of the Service if we reasonably believe it breaks the Acceptable Use Policy or the law.

  • Anyone can report content made with the Service that they believe is illegal, infringes their rights or breaks our Acceptable Use Policy, through our Help page (choose "Report content or misuse") or by email to support@script2reel.app.
  • Please include: where the content is (a link or video ID), why you believe it is illegal or infringing (for copyright: the work you own and your contact details), and a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith.
  • We review reports promptly, confirm receipt, and tell you what we decided. If we act against your content, we will tell you why and how to appeal. If you believe a copyright complaint against you was a mistake, you can reply with a counter-notice explaining why.
  • We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

10. Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account page. Cancel any active subscription first.
  • We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the Service. Unless the law or an ongoing investigation prevents it, we will tell you the reason and how to appeal. Where we close an account for a serious breach, unused credits are forfeited, except where consumer law gives you a right to a refund.
  • Sections 5 (licences you already granted for retained copies), 6, 7, 11 to 14 and 16 continue after termination.

11. Disclaimers

The Service and Output are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that Output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose, or that Output will not resemble other material. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Limitation of liability

  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) USD 100.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law of the country where you live.

13. Indemnity

If you use the Service for business purposes, you will defend and compensate us against third-party claims, and related reasonable costs, arising from your Input, your use of Output, or your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. This section does not apply to consumers where the law does not allow it.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. For changes that materially affect your rights, we will tell you by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect and ask you to accept the new version before you create further videos. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account, and any refund you are entitled to under the Refund Policy still applies. Minor changes, such as clarifications, take effect when we publish them. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW]. Disputes will be resolved by [COURTS OR ARBITRATION SEAT]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring claims in its courts. Before starting proceedings, please contact us at support@script2reel.app so we can try to resolve the issue.

16. General

These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may transfer these Terms to a company that takes over the Service; you may not transfer them without our consent. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms are written in English; any translation is for convenience, and the English version prevails to the extent the law allows.
